Indian Army Hosts Defence Orientation Tour for Indian and Foreign Officers

Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth interacted with participants of the Higher Defence Orientation Course (HDOC-20) during the ongoing Forward Area and Cultural Tour involving officers of the Indian Armed Forces and officers from friendly foreign countries.

According to the Indian Army, the Vice Chief of Army Staff urged future military leaders to prepare for emerging challenges in a multi-domain operational environment.

He also underlined the importance of strategic connectivity and cooperation in strengthening international partnerships among armed forces.

The Higher Defence Orientation Course is aimed at enhancing participants’ understanding of geostrategic issues, defence policy formulation, and contemporary security challenges.

The programme also seeks to showcase India’s rich heritage, traditions, and cultural diversity to officers from friendly nations.
