A new rail service connecting the border district of Kutch in Gujarat with Rajasthan and the national capital Delhi is expected to commence soon, marking a significant development in regional railway connectivity. The new train service has been introduced following a long-standing demand from passengers and local residents in the region.

According to Western Railway officials, all necessary preparations for the launch of the service have been completed. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is scheduled to officially flag off the train on Friday.

The train will originate from Bhuj and travel through important locations in Rajasthan including Jalore, Bhildi, and Pali before reaching Delhi. As per the schedule, the train will depart from Bhuj at 11 a.m. and is expected to arrive in Delhi around the same time the following day.

Railway authorities believe the introduction of the new service will significantly reduce passenger pressure on the existing Bhuj-Bareilly and Bhuj-Delhi Sarai Rohilla trains. Additionally, it is expected to strengthen rail connectivity between Kutch and several major cities in Rajasthan while also improving travel convenience for passengers heading to the national capital.
