India Welcomes Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker on First Official Visit
Christian Stocker, the Federal Chancellor of Austria, arrived in India on his first official visit, receiving a warm welcome at the airport from Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse.
India and Austria share a long-standing warm and friendly relationship, and Chancellor Stocker’s visit is expected to further strengthen the Enhanced India–Austria Partnership. The visit is seen as an important step toward deepening bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors of mutual interest.
The Ministry of External Affairs said the visit is expected to give fresh momentum to the growing partnership between India and Austria. According to External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, both countries share a warm and friendly relationship, and the visit is seen as an important step toward enhancing cooperation across key sectors.
