Manav Thakkar and Manush Shah lead comeback as India top Group 7 standings

India staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Slovakia 3–2 in a closely contested Group 7 clash at the Copper Box Arena during the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships.

Slovakia initially took the lead after Lubomir Pistej defeated Manush Shah. India responded strongly with Manav Thakkar leveling the score against Jakub Zelinka. Slovakia regained the advantage when Wang Yang overcame Harmeet Desai, putting India under pressure.

However, the Indian team fought back with determination. Thakkar delivered a dominant performance against Pistej to equalize once again, before Shah sealed the victory with a decisive win over Zelinka.
