Dhawan and Sophie Sign Marriage Documents at Gurugram Office
Former Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan registered his marriage with wife Sophie at a registrar’s office in Gurugram in the presence of family members and close associates.
Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan arrived in Gurugram on Wednesday to officially register his marriage, according to officials.
Dhawan visited the registrar’s office at Vikas Sadar along with his wife Sophie, where the couple completed and signed the required marriage registration documents. Family members and a priest were also present during the formalities.
Officials said the atmosphere at the office remained light-hearted and cheerful throughout the process. Dhawan was seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt, while Sophie opted for a light sky blue top.
During the document signing process, a humorous moment drew smiles from those present when a person standing behind jokingly remarked, “Is the pandit’s photo coming or not?”, adding a casual and celebratory touch to the occasion.
Shikhar Dhawan remains one of India’s most recognisable cricket personalities, known for his contributions as an opening batter across international formats and major ICC tournaments.
