Yusuf Pathan Campaigns in Kharagpur, Backs TMC Candidate Pradip Sarkar
Former cricketer and Yusuf Pathan held a roadshow in Kharagpur, Paschim Medinipur, campaigning in support of Pradip Sarkar for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections 2026.
During the campaign, Pathan said there was a positive atmosphere in the constituency and expressed confidence that Pradip Sarkar would win the seat. He also asserted that Mamata Banerjee would return to power in the state.
Commenting on issues related to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, Pathan said Mamata Banerjee had stood up for voters whose names were allegedly removed despite possessing valid documents, highlighting concerns raised by several residents.
