India, Iran Discuss Current Developments in West Asia
S. Jaishankar received a phone call on Wednesday Evening from Seyed Abbas Araghchi, during which both leaders held detailed discussions on the evolving situation in West Asia.
Dr Jaishankar said in a social media post that the two ministers exchanged views on various aspects of the current regional developments and agreed to remain in close contact.
The conversation comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions in West Asia, with countries in the region engaging in active diplomatic outreach. India continues to closely monitor developments given its strategic and economic interests in the region.
