BJD Flags Alleged Ballot Paper Violation to Election Commission
Biju Janata Dal has written to Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar alleging the illegal issuance of second ballot papers to Upasana Mohapatra and Purna Chandra Sethy during the Rajya Sabha Election 2026.
In its follow-up letter, the party sought immediate statutory action over the alleged irregularities and requested an appointment for a BJD delegation to meet the Chief Election Commissioner and the Election Commission of India regarding the matter.
The party has urged the poll body to examine the complaint promptly and ensure transparency in the electoral process.
