Minor Girl Rescued in Odisha After 36-Hour Search, Accused Arrested

A minor girl who went missing in Bhubaneswar has been rescued after an intensive 36-hour search operation, police said. According to Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissioner Suresh Dev Datta Singh, the girl was reported missing on the night of April 14 after she failed to return to her hostel from a tuition class.

Police launched a swift search operation and traced her to Delang in Puri district, where she was safely rescued. The accused, identified as Maheshwar Parida, who runs a snack shop, has been arrested in connection with the case. Authorities said further investigation is underway.
