Massive Fire Erupts in Ghaziabad Slum Area, Blaze Brought Under Control
A major fire broke out in the Kanawani slum area under Indirapuram police station limits in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, triggering a large-scale firefighting operation.
According to Ghaziabad District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandad, the affected area includes around 150 slum dwellings where scrap-related work was being carried out. Seven fire tenders were deployed to the site, and officials have successfully extinguished the blaze.
Authorities said the fire is now fully under control and there is no further risk of it spreading. Ambulance services have also been stationed at the location as a precautionary measure.
So far, no casualties or missing persons have been reported. Officials said a survey will be conducted if any complaints regarding missing persons are received.
