Massive Fire Breaks Out Near Majlis Park in Delhi
A massive fire broke out in an open ground near Majlis Park in the Jahangirpuri area of northwest New Delhi on Saturday afternoon, sending thick plumes of black smoke across the sky.
Officials said no casualties have been reported so far. However, cooling operations are expected to continue even after the flames are brought under control.
According to authorities, the Delhi Fire Services received information about the blaze at around 2:30 PM.
Following the alert, 11 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading.
Emergency teams are continuing firefighting efforts, while the cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained.
