Heatwave Alert Issued for Delhi, Punjab, UP and 7 Other Regions

India Meteorological Department has forecast heatwave conditions over Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Punjab, and Vidarbha over the next two days.

The weather agency has also predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh tomorrow.

According to IMD, hot and humid weather conditions are likely to prevail for the next two days over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
