Former Justice Gautam Kumar Chaudhary to Lead fact-finding committee

The Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday appointed retired Justice Gautam Kumar Chaudhary as the chairman of the fact-finding committee constituted to look into alleged irregularities in the 2016 Graduate Trained Teachers Combined Competitive Examinations, conducted by the state staff selection commission.

The court of Justice Deepak Roshan, while hearing a petition filed by Meena Kumari and several others, directed the government to ensure that all logistics and infrastructure are provided to former HC Justice Chaudhary in order to enable him to conduct proceedings of the fact-finding committee.

The court further observed that the committee should analyse all aspects of the matter and furnish its report within three months.
