16 Injured in Mini Bus Accident on Mumbai–Ahmedabad Highway in Palghar
Tyre burst leads to collision with speeding vehicle; injured admitted to Kasa hospital
A road accident involving a mini traveler bus left 16 passengers seriously injured at Chinchpada on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad National Highway in Palghar.
According to officials, the bus was travelling from Gujarat towards Mumbai when a tyre burst caused the vehicle to lose control. Shortly after, a high-speed vehicle coming from behind rammed into the bus, worsening the impact.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, and all injured passengers were shifted to Kasa Sub-District Hospital for treatment. Their condition is being closely monitored.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, including the role of speeding and vehicle condition, while urging motorists to follow safety norms on highways.
