West Bengal Government Schedules Major Administrative Review Session
Suvendu Adhikari is set to hold his first district-level development review meeting on May 21, officials said on Friday.
According to officials, district administrations from Purulia district, Bankura district, Paschim Bardhaman district, Birbhum district and Purba Bardhaman district will attend the meeting.
The review meeting is expected to focus on the progress of development projects, implementation of government schemes, infrastructure initiatives, and district-level administrative performance.
Officials said the Chief Minister’s Office has already communicated details regarding the meeting to the respective district administrations and instructed officials to prepare updates on ongoing developmental works.
District-level review meetings are considered important administrative exercises through which the state government monitors implementation of welfare programmes, public infrastructure projects, and policy execution at the grassroots level.
The upcoming meeting is expected to set the tone for the state government’s administrative and developmental priorities in different districts of West Bengal.
