R.N. Ravi sworn in as new Governor of West Bengal!
R. N. Ravi, who has been appointed as the new Governor of West Bengal, is expected to take oath on Thursday, according to reports. He will travel to Kolkata this evening for this purpose. He will officially take charge as the Governor at a ceremony to be held there. Preparations for this event are in full swing.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Lok Bhawan on Thursday morning. The Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court will administer the oath to him. The previous governor, C.V. Ananda Bose, had resigned from his post on March 5.
Subsequently, R.N. Ravi was appointed as the new governor. He had been serving as the Governor of Tamil Nadu since 2021. In this situation, Mamata Banerjee has leveled allegations against his replacement. She said that this decision was taken without consulting the state government.
