CCTV, Control Rooms Activated as Bengal Prepares for Voting

Ahead of the next phase of the West Bengal Assembly Election, Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal, Manoj Kumar Agarwal, said all arrangements have been completed to ensure violence-free and smooth polling.

Speaking in Kolkata, Agarwal said security forces have been deployed, polling personnel have reached stations, and Central Armed Police Forces have taken charge of booths and local area patrols.

He added that CCTV cameras, control rooms, and monitoring systems have been installed and tested, while senior officials are conducting field inspections across polling areas.

The Chief Electoral Officer appealed to voters to cooperate and participate freely, stating that every citizen should be able to cast their vote without fear or obstruction, while all election procedures are being followed strictly as per protocol.
