Himachal Pradesh Likely to See Rain and Thunderstorms from April 17 to 20
Himachal Pradesh is expected to experience a wet spell from April 17 to 20 as a fresh western disturbance is likely to impact the western Himalayan region from April 15, according to the Meteorological Centre in Shimla.
The weather office has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching speeds of 30–40 kmph in isolated areas across four to seven districts on Friday and Saturday.
Officials said weather conditions remained largely dry in the past 24 hours, but the approaching system may bring rainfall and unstable weather across several parts of the state later this week.
