Kajol Marks 20 Years of ‘Fanaa’ with Throwback Photos
Bollywood actor Kajol marked 20 years of the romantic thriller Fanaa by sharing throwback pictures and memories from the film’s shooting days in Poland.
Bollywood star Kajol on Tuesday celebrated 20 years of her film Fanaa by sharing nostalgic photographs and memories from the movie on social media.
Directed by Kunal Kohli, the film was released on May 26, 2006, and starred Aamir Khan alongside Kajol. The story revolved around Zooni, a visually impaired woman who falls in love with her tour guide Rehan, only to later discover his hidden identity as a terrorist.
Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Kajol reflected on the memories associated with the film’s production, especially the shooting schedule in Poland. She recalled the extreme winter conditions, mentioning temperatures of minus 27 degrees Celsius, scenic forests and sleds used on sidewalks.
The actor also shared a personal memory, noting that her daughter was two-and-a-half years old during the making of the movie.
Fanaa became one of the notable romantic thrillers of the 2000s and was praised for its music, emotional storytelling and the chemistry between Kajol and Aamir Khan. The film remains popular among audiences two decades after its release.
