Car-Lorry Accident Leaves Actor Dead, Wife Injured
Actor succumbs to injuries after car collides with lorry in Pathanamthitta
Malayalam actor Santhosh Nair was killed in a road accident in Pathanamthitta district in the early hours of Tuesday, police said.
The accident occurred near Enathu around 6:30 AM when the car in which he was travelling collided with a lorry. Both Nair and his wife sustained injuries in the crash.
Police said the actor suffered critical chest injuries after hitting the steering wheel and later succumbed to them. His wife is reportedly undergoing treatment.
Authorities have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
