National Testing Agency Issues Important Refund Update for NEET Candidates
The National Testing Agency has extended the last date for NEET UG 2026 candidates to submit bank account details for fee refunds until June 22, 2026, urging remaining applicants to complete the process promptly through the official registration portal.
The National Testing Agency has announced an extension for submitting bank account details related to fee refunds for the NEET UG 2026 examination.
According to the official update, candidates who have not yet completed the refund process can now submit their bank account information until June 22, 2026, at 11:50 PM through the official NEET UG registration portal.
The agency stated that nearly 13 lakh candidates have already updated their refund details, while remaining applicants have been advised not to delay the process further.
To complete the submission, candidates are required to log in to the NEET UG 2026 portal, access the refund link, carefully enter bank account details, and optionally upload a cancelled cheque for verification purposes.
The NTA also cautioned applicants that once the details are submitted, no modifications or corrections will be allowed later. Candidates have therefore been urged to verify all banking information carefully before final submission.
The extension is expected to provide additional time for students facing technical or documentation-related delays in completing the refund formalities.
NEET UG remains one of India’s largest entrance examinations for admission into undergraduate medical programmes, attracting lakhs of candidates annually from across the country.
