The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for applying to obtain scanned copies of evaluated answer books for the Class 12 board examinations by one day.

According to an official circular issued on Tuesday, the deadline has now been extended from May 22 to May 23 following technical problems encountered on the CBSE website related to post-verification facilities.

In the circular, the board stated that the extension was granted to ensure students receive adequate time to access the facility after the website disruption.

CBSE said the decision was taken keeping in mind the inconvenience faced by students and other stakeholders during the online application process.

The post-verification process allows students to obtain scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets and apply for verification or re-evaluation if required. The system is considered an important part of the board’s examination transparency mechanism.

Students who appeared for the Class 12 board examinations can continue applying through the official CBSE portal within the revised deadline.

The board has advised students to complete the process at the earliest to avoid last-minute technical issues or server-related delays.

CBSE conducts board examinations for lakhs of students across India every year, and online post-result services often witness heavy traffic immediately after the declaration of results.
