Nashik Harassment and Conversion Case Accused Held in Sambhajinagar
Nida Khan, who was absconding in a case involving alleged religious conversion and sexual harassment at a TCS unit in Nashik, has been arrested in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
Police have arrested Nida Khan, a TCS employee who had been absconding in connection with a case involving allegations of religious conversion and sexual harassment at the company’s Nashik unit.
The accused was apprehended in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in central Maharashtra on Thursday.
According to police officials, investigations revealed that a local corporator associated with the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) had allegedly provided shelter to Khan while she was evading arrest.
Following her arrest, Khan was produced before the Nashik Road Sessions Court on Friday.
The court remanded her to police custody until May 11 for further investigation.
Authorities are continuing to examine the allegations and gather evidence related to the case, which has attracted attention due to the serious nature of the accusations involving workplace harassment and alleged coercive activities.
Police officials said further questioning and investigation are underway to determine the full extent of the matter and identify any additional individuals connected to the case.
