Nashik Court Receives Fresh Chargesheet in Alleged Forced Conversion Case

According to officials, the chargesheet pertains to eight FIRs registered at Mumbai Naka Police Station under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
The chargesheet names several accused, including Raza Rafiq Memon, Shahrukh Husain Shaukat Qureshi, Ashwini Ashok Chainani, Tausif Bilal Attar, Shafi Bhikan Sheikh, Danish Ejaz Sheikh, and Nida Ejaz Khan, among others.
Officials said the document was submitted before the court of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate in Nashik on Thursday as part of the ongoing investigation.
The case has attracted considerable attention due to allegations involving sexual harassment, coercion, and religious conversion. Investigators have been examining multiple complaints and collecting evidence linked to the allegations.
The filing of the second chargesheet indicates that the SIT has completed further stages of its investigation and has placed additional findings before the court for judicial consideration.
