The mother of Danish Sheikh, a co-accused in the alleged sex harassment and forced conversion case linked to the Tata Consultancy Services office in Nashik, has defended her son and demanded justice.

Speaking in Nashik, Tabassum Sheikh said media reports had wrongly portrayed the case and claimed her son had only engaged in normal conversations with the complainant. She stated that any formal religious conversion follows a proper legal and religious process involving a cleric and witnesses, and cannot happen through casual discussion.

She further alleged that the woman had shown interest in Islam and often asked Danish questions, which he merely answered, denying any element of force or coercion. The matter remains under investigation, and authorities are examining all allegations and statements connected to the case.
