Man Accused of Cheating Seven People with Govt Work Promise
Mumbai Police have registered a case against a man for allegedly cheating seven persons of ₹91 lakh by promising to secure them work contracts from different government departments.
The accused has been identified as Satish Kadam, a resident of Nanded in the Marathwada region.
According to officials, the complaint was filed by Hanumant Vadje, who alleged that Kadam duped him and six others by assuring them contracts linked to the Urban Development and Social Justice departments.
Police have launched an investigation into the alleged fraud.
