A woman’s dismembered body was recovered from the S1 coach of the Chapra-Gomti Nagar Express in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar district on May 17, triggering a major investigation by railway police authorities.
According to Rohit Mishra, personnel from the Railway Protection Force and railway staff received information about a suspicious box and bag kept inside the train coach. Upon opening the box, officials discovered chopped body parts of a woman, though the victim’s head was missing.
