Police Arrest 12 Accused as Investigation Continues in Sakrawan Village

A 12-year-old boy was allegedly beaten to death in Nalanda following a dispute over plucking lemons from a tree in Sakrawan village under the Asthawan police station area.

According to police, the victim, identified as Shubham Kumar, was playing near a house when he reportedly plucked lemons from a tree. A confrontation later broke out, which escalated into violence.

Bharat Sony said preliminary findings suggest the child died during the altercation. He confirmed that all 12 accused involved in the incident have been arrested.

The police official stated that the accused would be produced before the court and assured that strict legal action would be taken. Authorities also said the situation in the village is currently peaceful.

Forensic Science Laboratory teams have reached the spot to assist in the investigation, while the child’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
