Yes Bank on Saturday reported a 45 per cent rise in net profit for the March quarter to ₹1,068 crore, indicating a strong improvement in financial performance.

The lender said it now sees the end of its more than six-year recovery phase after focusing extensively on profitability, asset quality, and balance-sheet repair. During the turnaround period, the bank had moderated loan growth while strengthening fundamentals.

According to Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Vinay M. Tonse, the bank has emerged stronger and is now well-positioned to expand lending in line with overall banking sector growth trends.
