Tata Motors starts delivery of e-truck Prima E.55S
Commercial vehicle maker Tata Motors said on Friday it has commenced deliveries of its heavy-duty electric trucks, Prima E.55S, to BillionE Mobility.
The company also announced securing supply order for these 250 additional electric prime movers, which will be delivered in a phased manner and deployed across key freight corridors in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi-NCR, and Haryana, supporting long-haul movement of steel, cement and other industrial goods, the company said.
The first batch consisting of 30 e-trucks handed over in the presence of Tata Motors Ltd’s Managing Director & CEO, Girish Wagh and BillionE Mobility and ChargeZone’s Founder Kartikey Hariyani, among others, it said.
