Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Sales Jump 31% in April 2026
Strong domestic demand and over 100% growth in exports drive performance
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd on Friday reported a robust 31.12% year-on-year growth in total sales, reaching 59,701 units in April 2026 compared to 45,532 units in the same month last year.
Domestic sales remained the key growth driver, rising 30.5% to 59,000 units from 45,199 units in April 2025, reflecting sustained demand in the Indian passenger vehicle market.
International sales witnessed a sharp surge, more than doubling to 701 units from 333 units in the year-ago period, registering a strong growth of 110.5%.
The performance highlights the company’s expanding footprint both in domestic and global markets, marking a strong start to the financial year for its passenger vehicle segment.
