Royal Enfield Sales Surge 31% in April 2026, Domestic Demand Drives Growth
Strong domestic performance offsets decline in exports for Eicher Motors arm
Royal Enfield on Friday reported a strong 31% year-on-year increase in total sales, reaching 1,13,164 units in April 2026 compared to 86,559 units in the same month last year.
The growth was largely driven by robust domestic demand, with sales in India rising 37% to 1,04,129 units, up from 76,002 units in April 2025. The company, part of the Eicher Motors group, has been witnessing sustained demand for its mid-size motorcycles in the domestic market.
However, exports saw a decline of 14%, with overseas shipments falling to 9,035 units from 10,557 units in the year-ago period, reflecting softer demand in international markets.
Despite the dip in exports, the overall performance indicates a strong start to the financial year for Royal Enfield, backed by continued growth in the Indian market.
