Gold, Silver Slip on MCX Despite High Spot Prices
In the Indian bullion market, 24 Carat Gold was trading at ₹1,49,400 per 10 grams, while Silver was priced at ₹2,36,710 per kilogram a short while ago.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for the June contract was trading over 0.6 per cent lower at ₹1,49,072 per 10 grams.
Silver for the May contract was also down more than 0.6 per cent, trading at ₹2,35,800 per kilogram when reports last came in.
The movement in bullion prices comes amid fluctuations in global markets, currency trends and investor sentiment toward safe-haven assets.
