Commercial Vehicle Sales Surge for Tata Motors in April
Domestic and international segments record strong growth year-on-year
Tata Motors on Friday reported a robust 28% year-on-year growth in its total commercial vehicle sales, reaching 34,833 units in April 2026 compared to 27,221 units in the same month last year.
The company’s domestic performance remained strong, with sales rising 27.9% to 32,965 units, up from 25,764 units in April 2025, according to a regulatory filing.
International business also showed steady momentum, with volumes increasing by 28.2% to 1,868 units, compared to 1,457 units in the corresponding period last year.
The growth reflects sustained demand in both domestic and global markets, signaling a positive outlook for the commercial vehicle segment at the start of the new financial year.
