Climate, Technology and Blue Economy in Focus During Bilateral Meeting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima at the Royal Palace in The Hague during the second leg of his ongoing five-nation official visit.

During the meeting, the leaders reviewed the expanding partnership between India and the Netherlands and discussed avenues for further cooperation in multiple strategic and economic sectors.

Both sides highlighted the strong bilateral collaboration in areas such as sustainability, climate action, digital technology, innovation, financial technology, and the blue economy.

Officials said the discussions reflected the shared commitment of both countries to deepen ties and strengthen cooperation in emerging sectors that are critical to future economic growth and environmental sustainability.

India and the Netherlands have steadily expanded bilateral engagement in recent years through trade, investment, technology partnerships, water management cooperation, and clean energy initiatives.
