Woman Arrested with Narcotics Hidden in Soap Cases

Police in Churachandpur have seized 994 grams of brown sugar concealed in soap cases and arrested a woman in a narcotics crackdown.

The operation was carried out in Tuibong area following specific intelligence inputs. During the raid, officials recovered the contraband hidden inside 82 soap cases.

The accused has been identified as Hatneithem Haokip (32). Authorities have launched further investigation to trace possible links and networks involved in the smuggling operation.

Police reiterated their commitment to intensifying action against drug trafficking in the region.
