Delhi Capitals bowler warned for aggressive behaviour during match against Rajasthan Royals

Kyle Jamieson, representing Delhi Capitals, has been handed one demerit point and issued a warning for breaching Level 1 of the IPL Code of Conduct during Match No. 43 against Rajasthan Royals.

The incident took place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Jamieson was found to have violated Article 2.5 of the code, which pertains to the use of language, actions, or gestures that could provoke an aggressive reaction from another player.

According to officials, the breach occurred in the second over of the first innings after Jamieson dismissed batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The bowler reportedly approached the batter in an aggressive manner, which could have escalated tensions on the field.

Jamieson admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction imposed by match referee Rajeev Seth.
