Hyderabad Gets 8 New Weekly Trains to Tirupati, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar
In a major boost to rail connectivity, the Central Government has announced eight new weekly train services from Hyderabad.
The new services will operate from Kacheguda Railway Station, Cherlapally Railway Station, and Nampally Railway Station, connecting the city with destinations in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Odisha.
Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy said the move followed discussions with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw regarding long-pending demands for regular train services.
Devotees are expected to benefit significantly, as five of the new trains are dedicated to Tirupati and Tiruchanur.
The expansion also includes long-distance routes to Shri Ganganagar, Jaipur, and Bhubaneswar.
The schedule begins next month with the Cherlapally-Bhubaneswar weekly special on May 5, followed by services to Tiruchanur and Tirupati later in the month. A weekly train to Shri Ganganagar will start on July 14, while the launch date for the Nampally-Jaipur service is expected soon.
